I started depressed and it lasted for a while. then the bitterness came on. its the prevailing feeling at this time. However I do get depressed every now and then, usually brought on by another lie the bitch tells. She just cant seem to keep from telling lies about everything. I try not to talk to her too much because of this. gives her less of a chance of lying.

Not sure...I am in the same stage...tho I have to say I do NOT want to be with her...just really angry about how things turned out and REALLY pissed about how it was for us sexually for years, and now I find out she is fucking every guy she can wrap her legs around.... That was exactly the first stage I went though I would see every house and every couple and think... look how happy they are, look how they made it work. I thought simply lovinging him, NEVER EVER looking at other guys (or wanting to), taking care of the kids and house,bills, lawn, cars and minor repairs was enough to make him happy. I didn't know I was suppose to be boosting his ego telling him how absolutely wonder he was (I thought my actions proved that). The cute younger chicks at worked new what he need more than I did! How stupid was I? So yeah I was sad adn thought I was the only person that really knew what that meant. But then when the word got out he was divorcing me... the guys came out of the woodwork! My sadnes went away and I saw this as a brand new day. (I also found out sad people didn't eat, which was very good for the waiste line).

I guess I am an odd ball. I am thrilled to be getting divorced and would actually like to have a party in celebration.

I've been working on my music playlist for my divorce celebration and my whole family is planning the party....how fucked up is that!

You have to choose... I can pretty much guarantee almost everyone in here has been in your shoes. But how long are you going to let your emotions control you? You are going to have to work through it or wallow in depression and misery. You will have set backs. Everyone does. Get over it. Choose what your future is going to be and how you want to feel and press forward. Having no plan means you're going to stay exactly where you are now.

^^^^^^READ THIS It sounds like new-age garbage but it is true. Your emotions are healthy, let them run the course they need to but be aware that there is also the aspect of choosing to wallow in them or choosing to look for the silver lining. You don't have to identify the silver lining right away, in fact it could take significant time for it to present itself but know it's there and expect it sooner rather than later. It is not a linear progression either, there will be x steps forward, a step back etc. Just make sure that the overall progress is forward and you do that with the positive attitude. It sucks but it is not the end of the world no matter how much it feels like it. If you are staying in bed all day and feel like you don't want to be here, you may need help. Get it now!!! The sooner you begin getting the right outlook on things the sooner the pain will be gone for good. Get out and live and look forward to what's next in the new phase of your life.

the next I understand the exact pain . my wife..(she still is) is seeing her boss now . she was trying to say it was over between her and him and to keeep me at the same time. i could not handle it and he as i predicted has left her the same week i got out of her life.
