gloomy 4 life I don't know what to do with myself anymore.Ever since my ex and I parted,which is 8 years ago, I been having such a hard time letting go of how my relationship fell apart.I'm having a very hard time accepting the failed partnership and even come across as an in denial prick ,so she said before she left. It isn't because I still care for her nor do I want to rekindle what we had together that's making me feeling the way I do.I think how I feel towards her have a lot to do with my own anger over the fact that I she left me which left me feeling like a worthless piece of shit.I can't get over this,where do I start getting my life together? I know it's been almost a decade since we're apart but the anger still remains.

sounds like you are stuck in a rut of puzzling over the demise of that relationship so as to avoid a recurrance? It's normal to do that but it's gone on way too long.

seems like a week ago to me The more problem I have with meeting women,the more upset I am at the ex which ,I myself, can't comprehend but that's where I stand at this point.

What I believe Although I wouldn't normally say something like this, I believe this is a time for prayer. Start slowly and be open and honest with yourself, remember to be gentle with yourself too. You are, after all, only human. Us humans, we just make mistakes. The path of your life is unfolding in front of you. If you continue to peer over your shoulder at your past, you're going to miss the present as it is playing out for you.

Wake up Damn my man u have to move on with your life, you have wasted 8 long years of life tring to figure out what happened, sometime it just does not work and other times it might work for you but not for the other person it has happened to most of us here....and yes we hurt but we pick up the pieces and move on just like you have to do, I mean you deserve somebody who wants you just as bad as you want them ......so go cry about yell to the stars talk to someone but get it out of your system and move on,find someone thats going to make u happy

what makes it more revolting is How she moved on with her new life by making new friends and dating new guys without any thought of what we had,which wasn't great but, together as if I'm a nobody. I feel awful from knowing how she's handling my past with her so much so that the feeling is becoming unbearable.

Oh, brother. Her moving on and making new friends was a healthy response to the relationship being over. Why should she sit around and stew and brood and cry like you? One obsessed, depressive idjit is enough.

Being gloomy x life is a decision. The question is, why are you making it? What's the payoff in choosing to stay stuck in the past? Figure that out, and maybe you'll decide that the payoffs for digging yourself out are preferable, and worth the effort.
